The research for the book will take me to the Scottish islands of Colonsay and Iona. The trip to the islands will involve eight ferry journeys and, when I get there, I’ll be doing everything I can to connect with the local landscape. (If you think this sounds like a big adventure, you’re right! And if you think this means some kind of magic is going to happen, I think you’d be right about that too.)
